Carers check in with GPS, the office is alerted when a visit is late, and Shift Assurance checks what happens during the shift: ratios, breaks, live-in nights, client money and stock.
The carer app shows the day, the address and what is due. Check-in is GPS-stamped; before leaving, the app checks that notes, medicines and outcomes are recorded for that shift.
Build the shift as it should run: staffing ratios, structured breaks with named cover, step-down plans when 2:1 becomes 1:1, and evidence for live-in nights and compensatory rest.
Expenses, client money and petty cash are recorded on the shift with receipts, counted with a second person, and discrepancies go to an approvals queue.
